wow man I really like your dynasty great graphics, all around. Its also cool how your keeping with the real time rosters.

Thanks Mastro. The catching situation (at least in my dynasty) has been less than mediocre.

To be honest, I was thrilled to see Kendall come to Chicago. I've played a few seasons with him in my Oakland Dynasties, and he was no where near as bad as what I've had to deal with here so far.

The only advantage I see in the real life trade is the experience that he brings, at least at that position.

For those of you that want to create Jerry Blevins (involved in trade with Kendall, Bowen), here are his attributes:

damn tough year for DeRosa

Yeah, him and Pie both. 2B has been a trouble spot, Theriot injured (out for season), Cedeno not producing, Eric Patterson out for season. DeRosa was sent down earlier in the year, and Soriano actually started a few games at second.

Scott Moore (who plays against righties) has been solid since he got called up, so I've platooned Izturis and DeRosa at SS since then. DeRosa plays 2B against the lefties, and has his flashes of brilliance, but he can't sustain it.

The outfield has been almost as bad. Jones and Pagan have hit no better than Pie, so he gets playing time mostly for his speed. He seems to come through at the plate in clutch situations, and actually has 26 stolen bases on the year.

It's been a juggle for most of the season, and somehow the Cubbies are hanging on.

How many game has Pie played, and you just like me i have no one batting .300

Pie's played 64 games this season. The outfield has been a mess, with Soriano really the only one that's done anything at the plate.

Outfielders I've played this season:

Jaques Jones

Angel Pagan

Felix Pie

Cliff Floyd

Buck Coats

Alfonso Soriano

Sadly, other than Soriano, Pie is hitting almost as well as the anyone that's been out there. I've kept my eye on the minors, and there's nothing there either.

*edit - on a side note, Pie played 18 games in AAA Iowa hitting .326 with a homerun and 4 stolen bases, he just fails to get it done at the MLB level.

If only you werent keeping the exact roster as in real life haha, there are some good options at 2B nowadays.

As for Pie you may not want to rush him into the show... Hes a youngster, maybe keep him in AAA for a bit and play Jones and Floyd out there..

I feel your pain JR on DeRosa. He's getting ready to catch that "Midnight Train" to Iowa for me. He's just not cutting it at the plate. Just finished the Padre series at Wrigley. He came up in some clutch situations and just could not get it done. Soriano is struggling again. Think I'm going to move him down in the order. :headache:

Nice way to introduce Kendall JR. Have you been watching the Cubbies beat up the Giants today?

Yeah, I've had it on, M. There's a confidence brewing with this club that is getting to the point that they think they can do something.

If they take over 1st place in the Central, it's very possible they can run away with it.

How can you not like the Cubbies this year? :)

*Just to update tonight's game, Aramis Ramirez will sit out for the first time this season. He is 0-16 in his last 4 games, and Scott Moore will get the start at 3B. Cesar Izturis will start at SS, and Mark DeRosa gets the nod at 2B.*

You can't like them a couple of months ago!

Btw - what overlay do you use?

I believe JR photo-shopped the overlay in the Kendall template.

Actually I didn't, M. It's one of KSM's. I switch between his and Trues' overlays during the season.

Ah my bad JR. That looked like some of your earlier PS work.

any time for the heads up and is anyone hitting .300 yet ha

Ramirez has hit over .300 all season, but he's slid within the last week and a half.

Ryan Theriot was hitting over .300, went down with a season ending injury.

Other than that, what you see is what you get.
