apridham
Wow. JR, you have done it again. That template is golden. You have set the standard high yet again.

redsox
What a blowout. Looks like Ramirez was unstoppable tonight. BTW, nice to see you bring out the old template. I really liked these the most, along with the pre-game/post-game reports that you used to do when you first started this dynasty.

Thanks, apr, actually since I'm limited on time, I've combined some 'old' with some 'new. Thanks for the comments though, they're always appreciated. And BTW, nice lookin' dynasty you have going yourself! :)
JoeRudi26
Good win and great template JR. Ramirez was in the zone. He most definately was. The ball was jumping off his bat, and when that happens, I have to especially focus and look for the right pitch to hit. Phillies' pitchers couldn't find the plate all day, actually walking in 2, so I took advantage and waited patiently. They wound up throwing 161 pitches. But like I said, if I'm going to stay in this thing, the time is now.

When I was away, I got about 6 games played ahead, so the next few days I will be doing some PS work with those. Come on over and check it out later. If and when I make the playoffs V, I definately want to change things up and present something special. Of course the game stats and numbers would still be in place, but I'll will no doubt have more time in the fall, and especially between games before and during the post season. I play the game once. And done. But the way it looks, Houston isn't going to slow down anytime soon, it's either going to come down to the 6 games I have left with them, or put my focus on the Wild Card. Either way, it's been a fun season, and I look forward to finishing it. :)

redsox
Its most definitely has been a fun season, and I sure do hope that you reach the playoffs - more so because I want to see the template that you are going to present when you get there. Oh and of course hoping that the Cubs win the WS in a long time. I am sure taking 2 out of the first 3 (& hopefully 3 out of 4 from the series) from the Phillies is definitely going to help you, even if Houston keeps on winning as you can try and force the Mets and the Phillies to fight for the division while you get a stronghold on the wild card. Anyway, here's to you hopefully winning the last game of this series. Take care.

Anyway, here's to you hopefully winning the last game of this series. Take care. 2 out of 3 (from the Phillies) definately helps, and just about what I had expected coming into the series. Burrell is having a bad year, and Utley got hurt early in the series, but on the other hand, I have to give this team (Cubs) some credit. The Cubbies are starting to drive the ball, and it's taken 4 months of sifting through injuries and lineups to get a squad together that can get on base, score, and win games. The beauty of baseball is the fact that it does take this long to get something in place, considering you have the weapons to do so. And it's interesting to see opening day lineups, and comparing them to the lineups you're using at this point in the season. More often than not, it's never what you would have expected. Meastro is pretty much dealing with the same thing in his dynasty, only he's keeping a loose lid on the rest of the division. Nonetheless, he still has to pay attention to what is going on with his roster, as you obviously know all too well with your own dynasty going on. Anyway, thanks for the boost, I'll definately need it. :)
apridham
Hey, JR. I got an update up. Needs some work, but I like it better than the other one. Do you have any tips for improving it?
JoeRudi26
Hey, JR. I got an update up. Needs some work, but I like it better than the other one. Do you have any tips for improving it? Actually I just saw it, apr. The new template looks great, and I like how you did the line score at the bottom. If you want me to make a few suggestions, I will. First of all, you may want to make the text (under the pics) lighter on the dark blue background, they would be much easier to read. And on the line score itself, instead of using red for your team boxes, you may want to use the teams colors. I would make the boxes smaller, and add the pitching stats on the right side, it gives a better overview of the game, and it looks like you have plenty of room to do it. Sometimes the trick to these templates is to keep the base of what you have, and 'add' on instead of starting something completely new. Other than that, great job, apr. It's always nice to see something fresh. :)

I'm not sure if you know it or not, but your Wild Cats are coming to Bloomington this year instead of Indy. I can honestly say I've never seen them at our home facility. That place is gonna be rockin', I can't wait. :)
