*Note - Another fairly simple update, and the Series Board more than likely has a few errors. I've been pressed to get back on schedule, so the update was rushed a bit.*

*The games themselves were NOT rushed, I simply got taken to the cleaners this whole series. No excuses there. Look for a press conference in the next couple of days from an understandably frustrated Lou Piniella*

Man JR, did Soriano even see the ball that last game.

Take your frustrations out on the Reds coming up.

I know, M. 2-18 in the series.

He's colder than a witches...eh.

Nevermind. :)

How did Cedeno fair during the series? I have to imagine he's hanging on to his spot by a thread at this point. Unless he's making some monster defensive plays.

I've actually been platooning Cedeno with Fontenot (lefty/righty matchup), just to see if he would be able to develop any kind of offense for the stretch as of late.

He played in 2 of the 4 games (Colorado), and went 1-7 with 3 RBI's and a couple of walks. Defensively, he is more solid than Fontenot, but Fontenot has been clutch at the plate.

If Fontenot continues to hit well, he and DeRosa might be the everyday starters in the middle.

Thanks, guys. I've been sweating it out. With the success through July and especially against the division leaders, I had the feeling a small slump was bound to happen.

I'm 5-5 in my last 10, so it's not really considered a disaster yet, and I've still got a month and a half of baseball yet to play.

Here are the month by month numbers:

April - (13-11)

May - (16-12)

June - (13-13)

July - (19-7)

August - (7-7)

And a quick update on the standings:

*American League*

*AL Wild Card*

Detroit - 0.0

LA Angels - 2.0

Seattle - 3.0

Texas - 4.5

*National League*

*NL Wild Card*

Chicago - 0.0

New York - 0.0

Atlanta - 9.0

St. Louis - 9.5

Nice to see my Jays with a little cushion.

Boston and New York both had them in their sights only a week and a half ago.

Last 10

Toronto - (7-3)

Boston - (3-7)

New York - (6-4)

Don't worry, I hate the Mets too.

Also, is it just me or all of last years playoff teams in the AL not in playoff spots now?

Oakland was in first place in the AL West at this time last year, and Detroit had a playoff spot in the Central.

Oakland is in first in my dynasty, and Detroit has the lead in the Wild Card.

That's the only similarities in the AL as of right now.

In the NL, the Mets and the Dodgers had a potential playoff spot, with Cincinnati leading the Wild Card Race.

The only similarities at this point in my dynasty would be the Dodgers and the Mets.

Lol spicy

JR- I finally found that Grass Mod, but it's from 05 however it is by raindelay7, so is this the same one you have installed in this season? And does it affect any stadiums, or cause any crashes? In other words- is this the one you have downloaded?

RainDelay7's Grass Mod

Yep, that's the one MR. I personally haven't had one single problem with that mod. I have used it basically since it came out, and I have stadiums from 2 years ago until some of the newer ones put out this year.

Not one problem.

I do have some advice though. I would install it in one stadium at a time, otherwise if you do have a crash, it would be near impossible to track down.

I know it's time consuming, but if you want to keep your stadiums clean, it's the best way to do it.

Here's how I do it:

1. Make a new folder on your desktop called 'Stadiums'.

Empty all of your stadiums (except the one you're putting the mod in, and the lighting file inside the new stadium folder) into this folder.

2. Copy the contents of the Grass Changer Mod inside your MVP 2005 folder and run the batch file.

3. Copy all of the stadiums (in the folder on your desktop) back into the game stadium folder.

4. The Grass Changer should have only modded the stadium that was in that folder.

Like I said, it may be time consuming, but you can only play in one stadium at a time anyway, and this is the best way to find a crash if you happen to have one.

I know it's redundant and you probably already know the things I've mentioned.

Just some advice. :)
