InSainn
I'm playing a Cubs dynasty myself... I'm just wondering how did you make that trade for Monroe past the deadline in your dynasty? I'd like to make it in mine but trades are blocked past July 31...
HFLR
I voted for the Cubbies JR, the Astros have a good team and I think that they will atack in the end. Dont worry JR, a lot of Wild Card teams have won the WS InSainn: Put Trade Deadline off in the Gameplay options of your dynasty
JoeRudi26
I wanted to get my dynasty going again, but I am having a blast playing around with c4ds and brushes and creating sigs. I have been playing games here and there, I just haven't updated it with the information. Hopefully I will have something by the weekend. I've noticed that, V. You're definately getting the hang of it. It's hard to do both, I know. One of these days, I'm gonna break out the brushes too, maybe try to learn something. :)

And I would very much like to see you try your hand at this - with your photoshop skills and ORIGINALITY, I think you can create wonders. This dynasty is so unique that I don't think most people can replicate what you have done (presentation wise) even if they tried, because almost every single one of your pre-game/post-game/in-game reports (if not all) have been thought of by you. I believe almost every dynasty that was started after yours has tried to implement at least one of your ideas, including mine. I know you get this often, but thanks for such a wonderful dynasty man. Alrighty then, I guess that's enough flattery for one day, don't you think.

xcrunner4623
96 RBIs for A-Ram. Jeebus. You know how to drive your runners in. I am still learning that whole part. And I face Schmidt tonight. I may not have many runners to drive in anyway.

I may not have many runners to drive in anyway. Ramirez went crazy in this series. 2 HR's in the first game, 1 in the second, and 1 tonight. Strange though, he goes through stretches of 11-12 games without any pop what so ever. I hear ya loud and clear on Schmidt, x. Glad it's you and not me. rambo
Pity that you had to slaughter SF, but hey, good work, your back tied for first place.
JoeRudi26
Pity that you had to slaughter SF, but hey, good work, your back tied for first place. I split a 4 game set with them earlier in the season (July 16 - July 19), but this time it did seem a bit easier. Bonds had homered once in the 4 game series, but he took me deep in each game of this last (3 game) series. But after the a** kicking I took against St. Louis, I didn't mind racking up a couple of wins. :)

JoeRudi26
Hey JR, who do you have in the next series? @ Arizona (52-76) - Aug. 24-26 Milwaukee (53-74) - Aug 28-30 Houston (75-53) - Aug 31-Sept 2 Although it might look like a cake walk up to the Houston series, I counted Colorado out because of a poor record and again got my a** stomped. In other words, I won't be taking Arizona or Milwaukee for granted despite both of them being in the cellar. This would be the perfect time to gain some ground on them (Astros), and both of those series needs to be focused. :)
KidCavalier23
I guess these aren't the 2007 Diamondbacks, Brewers, and Astros based on their records. Good luck with these next 3 series!

Definately not. But then again, I personally wouldn't have expected to see Arizona or Milwaukee where they are now (in real life). I realize they are both decent teams, but again, I wouldn't have guessed it. I honestly would have expected more out of Houston than I would have both Arizona or Milwaukee. Other than some mediocre pitching, the Astros still look (offensively) good on paper. Berkman, Biggio, Ensberg (who went down) Lane, Lee, Scott, Lamb, and so on. But I guess that's the beauty of it. You never know what can happen until you play the game. :)

rookie_rick
Looks like you should be able contain that D'Back Line up. I'm still the only person that has voted for the Astros to win the wild card. lol. Maybe i know something everyone else doesn't or i could just be wrong. lol. The Mets are only a half game behind Philadelphia, and from my own experiences, are the much better team. I wouldn't be surprised if New York finally overcomes the East, and puts the Phillies in the Wild Card race too.

My key players are getting serious injuries. :(
JoeRudi26
Ouch, losing Tulowitski isn't good. He's killing in my dynasty. A couple of years ago I got to the playoffs with Oakland, and lost Eric Chavez (for the rest of the playoffs) at the start of the 1st round series with Boston. I wound up getting past Boston and New York to make it to the World Series against St. Louis, only to have Kotsay and Scutaro go down as well. St. Louis was too much and they took me in 6 games. As in real life, I guess the only thing you can hope for is that you'll get them back in time to help the team. Great dynasty, though, rick. Good luck! rookie_rick
Thanks JR. It means alot coming from a creator of such revolutionary dynasty which is of the highest quality.
JoeRudi26
Thanks for the comments, rick. It's definately the game itself that drives me, not merely the graphics and presentation. When I started this dynasty back at the end of March, I honestly didn't expect to be in or around the top of the division. I expected more of a mediocre season, and was geared up to try and present an intriguing storyline along with the woes that go with it, especially with Sweet Lou in the driver's seat. All of the pieces were in place for an interesting 6 months of baseball. I got as far as 9 1/2 games back in late June/early July, and with the way Houston was playing, and the Mets with the Wild Card, I fully expected to lose pace and eventually just be mathmatically eliminated. But Houston hit a couple of road bumps, the Mets followed, and at that particular time the Cubs went on a tear, winning 15 of 20 games, and here I am. So ultimately the storyline ceased, it's difficult to be in the midst of chaos when you're team has risen and can compete with the premier teams in the league. With that said, we all know Lou can 'go off' at the drop of a hat, so that concept is not totally out of the window. But with only a little over a month of baseball left, I'm totally in this thing. Not really what I expected, but I'll definately take it. But still, the NL Central and East races are just too close to relax on this thing. Another 3 or 4 game losing streak could very well be the end of my season.
