Jim825
Tried that and still no good, is there any other way to repack it When you repack it with nfshtool, it usually puts the updated .fsh file in the folder above where the individual uniform files are. For example, if the uniforms were extracted to c:uniformsindividual_files folder, look for the .fsh file in the c:uniforms folder.
Izhe
When I unpack it I know that it puts the uniforms in it's own folder c:uniformsAriu014g When I was done editing it what I wanted to edit I double clicked the Index.fsh and the ms-dos prompt window pops up for about a second and then closes, But when I use EAGraph editor the uniform is unedited. This has worked with other projects so am I just doing something wrong? I would inport what I want edit with EAGraph Editor but it's been giving me problems and it would take longer then I really have time for. I guess if I had expland this up front it might have saved some time for you guess and maybe myself.
Izhe
I found the problem and have it all fixed now.. thank you for all your help
Homer
nfshtool will repack the files back to the original fsh file that you opened it with. if you're not sure where that's going, open up the index file with notepad. the second line tells you where it's going to be saved and what the filename is too. if you want, edit that line to where ever you please. to repack everything after you have edited the bmp files, simply drag that index file and drop it into nfshtool. then press enter when it's done. if it's not doing that, then you need to check that you edited the bmp files correctly. meaning they need to be in the same format and file dimensions as the original, or else you will need to edit the index file to fit the new dimensions. Homer
before installing it with the installer thingy, did you open the uniform file up with eagraph to make sure the uniform got re-packed correctly?
Izhe
I did and it still didn't work.. I am tying to make this But it come up in the game like this ANY ideas?
Homer
well, is nfshtool saying that it re-packed it successfully? if it is, then you need to make sure to double check where it's saving it to. if you don't get a message that it's repacked it successfully, then you need to re-edit it...more than likely you have the wrong format. the best way to get it to save to correct format: 1. open up the original bmp and open up the new bmp. for instance your two images above. select the entire canvas and press "Ctrl + C". 2. paste it into the original bmp file by pressing "Ctrl + V" 3. hit "Ctrl + E" to merge the two layers and then save 4. repeat this for all the files you're editing this will ensure that the file dimensions are the same and that it's saved in the same format. now re-pack it with nfshtool and make sure it says it's repacked successfully. if this doesn't work, then i have no idea what you're doing wrong since i cannot see what it is you're doing. in this case, you're gonna just need to upload your files and i'll take a closer look. Izhe
I'll have to upload it for you cause nothing changes, I took the main home jersey for a template and when I bring it up in the game it's the same as the home, The shoes batting gloves everything.
