I'll try to take away the mound in one of the stadiums (probably one of the minor league ones that looks like a softball field). By the way, Sean O told me that the field that looks most like a softball field is Spring Training Stadium 2 (a002day.big and a002nite.big). Do you guys agree, or do you guys think another stadium represents a softball field more closely? I'm also getting into a roadblock with changing the sound of the bats to "ping", because I have a strong suspicion that the sound is in either sfxa.abk or sfxb.abk, but I can't open up those files to retrieve the sound files. However, in a hex editor, I see text in there like "bat_break_vol" and "bat_hit_vol". There's no corresponding .ast files for them. I've already asked tywiggins and UncleMo about it. If we can't open up those two files, I don't think I can change the bat sound. I'm not sure if I want to add a softball field, because I've never modded a stadium before, and nobody else is volunteering to do it. I couldn't find the bat sound even after hours of searching. compmaniac Posted April 11, 2007 Author Share Posted April 11, 2007 This is only composite bats, rosters that are modified so everybody has a huge breaking pitch at around 56 mph, and stuff that I put in the readme. It's not that big like the 07 mod, but it will replace the ball, the bats, and the rosters. You could copy your 07 files to another folder and install this softball thing to that folder.
