redsox
Nice job on the presentation man. Suggestion: Maybe you could have different forms for your journal update. Maybe you could include a journal page that got torn up or something like that. You know maybe different effects. But anyway, this is pretty well done. Great job. A torn up journal page you say. I kinda like that idea. Not sure how in the world to do it, but it sounds like a good challenge for me!
redsox
Here are some basic tutorials. I am pretty sure you can find some better looking ones online. Just do a google search and it should come up with many things. http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/torn/torn.htm This one looks like a pretty cool thing to do - http://www.myjanee.com/tuts/crumple/crumple.htm Here is a burnt paper design that looks pretty good - http://www.photoshopdigest.com/graphic-eff...nt-paper-effect

I like the link tutorials except I'm not sure if they'll work - I don't use photoshop, I use paint shop pro 7.

philliesphan18
Any suggestions for the progression values listed on the previous page? Also, anyone know how I can tear, burn, coffee stain, or otherwise modify the paper with Paint Shop Pro 7?
redsox
I think in regards to your progression, you should wait for your first update. Say for instance, you will be updating on the points once a month. When you get to the end of the month add up your points and see how he has performed. If you progression system generates too many points then you may have to make the goals a little harder if they are way too hard, you should make them a little bit easier. For mine, I had to up my points because at the end of the month I only had an update of 1 point. I think when you do your first update, you will know a lot about how your system is going. Hope that helps. Take care.

philliesphan18
Thanks JoeRudi. It took me a while to get it together, as I kept on having flaws in the design concept.

xcrunner4623
That A pitcher had 70 SO in a month? wow. He must be really good. Why don't the Holsinger Brothers do that? :rocklicker:
philliesphan18
Two months - Notice the Fast Forward there. And the brothers really aren't strikeout pitchers, which doesn't help concerning the fact that I have a hard time getting strikeouts. I think it is my sliders, but I'm not sure which one to adjust to get more Ks.
xcrunner4623
I was about to say, 70 SO in a month is pretty darn good. But I hear you about the strikeouts, just try to mix up your pitches. I love to throw curveballs just below the zone and then fastballs right outside of it, away from the hitter. I mix up which side I throw to, and I usually get 5-7 Ks a game.
