hitting_help?
Yeah I was thinking... is it possible that one could get changes to be made in player progression as the dates are changed. I've seen a program to change the dates ahead... (turn the time ahead on the game) Could it be worked so we could play this way in the future and get all the players to retire? Cuz I'm still thinking of the best way to get a fantasy league of no real players... :joystick:
hitting_help?
Ok I used the tywiggins schedule changer deal... and went back to 1948 and simmed a season. All the current players retired for "personal" reasons. (LOL they were -27 years old and stuff!) So now I have a randomly generated league!!!!! However, since everyone is 0 yrs. old, I'm wondering if the same thing won't happen at the end of this year too?
superciuc
Lol...-27 years.
compmaniac
Couldn't you speed ahead by 50 years?
ronmexico
You can speed ahead 20 years and then sim 1 season. You will have no players left.
hitting_help?
Will it work? Cuz when I went back to 1948 and simmed one season, it froze up when I tried to go to the next year...
ronmexico
Because the game doesn't recognize a year 1949, but the year 2037 it should. It's designed to go until the year 2125, so I don't see why not.
hitting_help?
Yeah it works I've tried it. They're all rookies and they're terribly bad, though. My first try at it I was the Dodgers and I somehow drafted players WAY better than everyone else and I just destroyed everyone... too easy. Didn't give up any runs at all. I guess I need the players to be more advanced and stuff and not be so bad.... LOL
