I havent tried to play in a while so i don't know f this problem has been addressed already, but, I have MVP 07 and it crashes close to midway through the Griffey loading screen. With Baseball season starting again, I really want to play so any help would be really appreciated.

Nm my last post, i reinstalled the patch and was able to get into the game. However, it keeps crashing during owner mode at many different times. Once before entering a game , once as i was pressing done to finish a game while looking at the boxscore. Does anyone have any ideas for this?

Its in the extras folder that came with the mod and you use it to create your dynasty or owner mode (it automatically starts in the 2007 season).

I found it and used it, thanks. But just another question. I used Mvp Mods to use another roster, i exported it and it is the roster that is applied when in roster manager, however, when i created an owner mode with the 07 Maker, it did not appear, is there a way to use my roster? Additionally thanks for your help in advance.

I am not sure what you mean when you said you "use Mvp Mods to use another roster." Do you meant to say you used MVPEdit?

For the roster to work with the 07-maker, you would need to export all your .DAT files into your database folder. Here are the steps (assuming that you used MVPEdit to edit your roster).

1. In MVPEdit go to export and point it to the database directory inside the data folder (that is inside the main MVP 2005 folder).

2. Run the 07-maker and you should have your roster updated.

NOTE: backup your database folder before you do the above.

Its funny thats exactly what i did twice, and my edited roster still doesnt appear in the owner mode. Also, the instructions for 07 Maker say that u shouldn't use " the file" or the game will be corrupted and you will need to reinstall. Does that mean that the owner.dynasty mode i create after using 07 maker should not be used at all, or just not until after restarting the game?

Do you have more than one install of the game? Maybe you are not pointing to the correct database folder when exporting the .DAT files. Make sure you are exporting the .DAT files BEFORE you create your owner mode.

In reference to MVP-07 maker, you should use it to create your owner/dynasty mode. Then exit the game and start the game as normal.

You should never have to fool with the 07-maker again (unless you want to create a new owner/dynasty mode).

I get it, the maker is just for every time you want to make a dynasty/owner mode, thanks for the clarification.

The other problem is that I don't have another database folder. It seems like the roster has been successfully applied to the game because when i go into roster manager my edited roster appears, however, when I make a new owner mode with the 07-maker, it is not my roster.

okay, I did not know there was an 07 maker in the 07 mod. This may be my problem as I used twiggins scheduler updater and created my dynasty through the game interface. Can I undo the schedule updater? or should I do a complete re-install? or is it that drastic?

Thanks James

Ive tried editing a different roster and using mvpedit, exporting it to the game, once again, it appears in the roster manager and exhibitions, but when i create an owner mode with the 07-maker, the edited roster isn't there.
