Sean O
Hello all- After 3 complete tear-downs, 3 completely different approaches, and hundreds of hours of work, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, former home of the Los Angeles Dodgers, is complete. This will be released in a number of different versions. There will be day and night versions of a full crowd version for high-end computers, and a half-crowd version for lesser processors. Here's the park, followed by a view of what it took to get to this point. ----------------------- First, I loaded up google earth and measured the LA Coliseum, minus the post-1961 seating additions. Then, I fit the dimensions for 1961 into the rough model to determine the exact angle of the stands to the baselines. From there, I drafted every important point into vectorworks: Then, I tore down every single point of Cleveland Stadium, and imported the points I had into oedit: How it looks in game: v1: v2: Then, once I figured out how to make the crowds permanent, and here was the next version: The last step was randomizing the crowd, which is where we are today. Here's an image of Cleveland Municipal, the base stadium, to see the changes: And finally, here's me getting robbed by the Phillies on what would've been a go-ahead homer: I hope you enjoy. Sean O
Soon. CC720 has been kind enough to put the bullpens in the correct spot, so once that happens It should be set for release.

Looks like you put a lot of work into it. Do you happen to know what file cc720 is tweaking for bullpens? I thought it might be in the coll.dat but unsure. Sean O
Haven't forgotten about the Coliseum, I'll release it over the next few days, before the weekend. Not everything is perfect (the bullpens are still somewhere weird), but it's pretty darn good.
ChicagoCubs720
send me the stadium, along with the coordinates for the mounds and homeplates of both bullpens, and I'll fix it for you.
Sean O
The Coliseum is as finished as it will be right now. The bullpens and dugouts are still not in place, so you'll get half-people around the park, but that's about it. File is uploading now, available ASAP. Hope you enjoy. Toleton
Hi there, I was just searching for some stadiums to incorporate to my game and I found this version of LA Coliseum from 07-07-2007, which I think is a remarkable reproduction from such historical stadium. Unfortunately it was released with minor problems in bullpens and dugouts. I know the stadium makers are busy, but are there any chance to retake this stadium for correcting such minor problems???
