MVP 07 FIFAFS.exe

I am having an install problem with the MVP 07 which doesnt not enable me to play the game. Towards the end of the installation process FIFAFS.exe crashes and shows the standard Windows XP message "FIFAFS.exe Unable to perform blah blah blah. And would you like to Send Report". This has happened numerous times and I tried installing atleast 4 times. The setup then skips that part and later I can't launch the game.

I searched on the forum and there was a couple of people with the same problem, and somebody mentioned that it could be Windows XP Media Center problem. Besides that I didnt find anything else.

I would appreciate if someone can help me figure out the problem so that i can play.

Thanks

I've tried it on media center and had no problems

it is one of a few things

Lack of memory

bad memory

you are overclocking the cpu

bad hard drive

a screwed up install of windows (sometimes some command prompt drivers are not installed correctly)

ty for the quick reply. I figured it out after I posted the message and simply copied the files from CD2 that were missing in the root directory of MVP.

I also ran into another problem with the 07-maker. It needs a version 2, 3, 4, 5 MVP2005.exe. I can't get that anywhere unless someone sends the patched exe to me or I can find a place to download it.

Alright that makes sense I guess, Apparently after the FIFAFS.exe crash the file is "incomplete" or corrupt and when I launch it, it opens up a command prompt and then nothing happens. If I were to put the original exe file off of CD2 the game launches, but I can't use the 07-maker.

Thanks

hmm I didnt realize that the MINI image was active on the virtual drive but I used the CDs to install. But I will try that.

Thank you
