Pokeys
Yeah maybe I will. But thinking of trading Young and some prospects for Webb is enticing. Jacque Jones is a great suggestion, I could probably get him fairly cheap as well. Trade Hairston for him or a prospect...

Im looking to close out the series with a nice sweep , thats not to much to ask is it? heh.

Gathright better pinch runner then Hairston, but im not sure on how long his stint in the bigs will be. Interesting pitching matchup, Im a huge Danks fan hehe former Texas Rangers prospect. However im not going to go easy on him and my team rocks lefties. Looking forward to this game...

Pokeys
Game 1 of 3: Oakland Athletics(8- Vs Texas Rangers(7-9) Rangers Win On Blalocks Bomb Left: Millwood Striking Out Nick Swisher | Right: Kiss that one good bye, Hank Blalocks 8th Inning Game Winning HR Game Wrap: The starting pitching was great in this game, Millwood came out firing and Harden was a bit wild but he got the job done. A's were able to get a few runners on base in the 4th then a 2 out single by Swisher brought in the games first run. In the bottom of the 6th Tex hit a leadoff double and Kinsler drove him in on a single to right field. Hardens night was done having thrown 87 pitches so in came Duchscherer for the start of the bottom of the 8th Inning. Texas hitters got to him right away, with Catalanatto singling then Sosa was intentionally walked, with 2 out and 2 on and Blalock at the plate he stepped up and smacked a Change-up left high inside DEEP to right to give the Rangers a 4-1 lead. CS: Milton Bradley (1) Rangers Notes: - Hank Blalock hit his team leading 13th RBI. - Kevin Millwood had his longest start of the season, going 8 innings strong and only giving up 1 run on 7 hits. SB: Ian Kinsler (5) Player Of The Game: 1 for 4, HR, 3 RBI's, Game Winnings RBI's --------------------------------------------------- Well my gameplan worked . I wanted to get the most pitches out of Harden and I think I did that. He had 87 pitches thrown in 7 Innings of work. If they would have left him in I feel I would have rocked him in the 8th or 9th. But they took him out and I got to durscherer right away which was great. Millwood pitched a good game finally.
