Decent dynasty, but you got to work on that highlight board. Your pictures aren't cropped properly and your text looks all out of place. Just one reader's opinion.

"Soriano's homerun is the only run scored in the game"

Chicago Cubs (2-1) at Milwaukee Brewers (2-1)

It was a great pitching duel between Felix "King" Hernandez and Dave Bush. Dave Bush was stellar just as "King Felix" was. Dave Bush pitched 8 innings while allowing 6 hits and one run. Bush also struck out 2. The one run came off the bat of Alfonso Soriano. For this game, Soriano was moved down to the 5th slot. He performed well. Soriano went 2 for 3 with one homerun. Felix Hernandez pitched like his usual self. Hernandez pitched 7 innings while allowing 5 hits and striking out 2. Kerry Wood and Mark Lowe came in the 8th and 9th inning to finish off the game. Mark Lowe finished off the game with 10 pitches. At the dish, Matt Murton extended his hitting streak to 4 games. Alfonso Soriano hit his second homerun on the season in the 2nd inning and that proved to be the game winner. The other team, the Brewers, had a total of 8 hits. J.J. Hardy's bat was silenced in the game. He went 0 for 4. Johnny Estrada's bat started to come alive today. He went 2 for 4, raising his average to .357.

Wow, you bring in Drew and McCann for nothing, then cut Wickman's salary by 6 million ... Am I reading that right? Interesting moves...

I thought it was a good deal and also Wickman was willing to take the paycut for the team for the role he will play as the setup man for the dynasty.

Hey man, this is your dynasty. I'm all for whatever it takes for you to stay interested in it and keeping it going.

"Sexson's homerun in the 11th breaks the 3-3 tie"

Chicago Cubs (3-1) at Milwaukee Brewers (2-2)

It was a good day for both pitchers on the mound, Mark Prior and Claudio Vargas. Claudio Vargas had the better day though. Vargas went 7 innings, while allowing 7 hits and 2 earned runs. Prior was just as effective. He went 7 innings, while allowing 3 earned runs on 8 hits. 2 of the Brewers 3 runs came off the bat of Rickie Weeks. Rickie Weeks belted a 2-run homerun in the 5th inning, his second of the year. Also, the Cubs bats came alive late in the 9th when they were down 1. The game wouldn't have gotten into extras if Alfonso Soriano hadn't hitten a solo homerun in the 9th inning off of Francisco Cordero. With two outs in the 11th and Reliever Ben Shouse in, the pressure was on for the newly aquired Richie Sexson, who hasn't proved himself with a homer this whole season. Sexson belted a 445 foot towering homerun to right field, which proved to be the game winner as Mark Lowe finished off the bottom of the 11th to seal the deal for the Cubs. Bob Howry got the win for the Cubs and Ben Shouse was tagged with the loss for the Brew-Crew. Also, Mark Lowe picked up his 3rd save of the season in as many chances.

Chicago Cubs Transactions

These two trades upgraded me in the already depth, but lacking talent Outfield Position. They should help me gain a good outfield for the future and for now in Carlos Beltran.
