What's your graphics card, evil1182? I only have an ATI X300, 1.5GB DDR2-RAM, 3.0 Pentium 4 w/ HT, and I can't run the game smoothly on 1280x1024 with highest settings, and 2x graphics quality of MVP 07. I got an ATI radeon 9600xt with 6x AA and 4x AF with no stutter, I used to get stuttering until I disabled Catalyst A.I.
compmaniac
Is 9600xt better than x300? And what is Catalyst A.I.? Also, does it not stutter even on 1280x1024 resolution with everything maxed, and 2x resolution for uniforms, stadiums, etc.?
evil1182
No, the X series is much better than what I got, In the control panel there's an option to turn it on or off. Yea, I'm using 2X unis and and the '07 stadiums.
Darkslide820
How's this sound? 448 MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce4 MX Integrated GPU 2.08 GHz As of right now, the game does play smoother than I thought, but there are still some skips, the play looks to go really quick (this means there are lost frames), and player faces are subpar and don't move (an argument looks funny because there is no yelling, only bodies bobbing around with blank faces). hovdog
ATI - RADEON X1050 256MB DDR Graphics Card X1050 256MB PCI 256MB DDR memory; PCI Express interface; dual 400MHz clock speed; DVI, S-video and composite video outputs is this decent for $105? or would I need a better one with my current setup? dusty_becker
When I first start the game everything runs perfectly smooth. However, the longer I run the game the more it starts skipping and the menu's start flickering in and out. I've tried this with the old original MVP 2005 and with the 07 update. This is the case for several other games that I've tried playing. I'm just wondering what needs to be updated in order to get this to run better. I don't really want to spend a ton of money as I only plan on playing this game on it. So if anyone can give me a heads up on what they would recommend. Here's what I've got right now. 2.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 512 Megabytes Installed Memory NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Thanks for the help.

maxbjr
dusty_becker, I had the same setup with my old computor,... except with 2G RAM. Everything ran fine, except during the 7th inning when the game panned around the stadium, I sometimes got alittle stutter depending on the version of stadium I was using. As for gameplay itself, there were no problems.

On Windows, the more you use a program, it will get laggier, as opposed to on Mac, where it caches the program to HD space. It will most likely lag, try and defrag, should help, but try n use something like (I think it's called O & O defrag) or what I use is diskkeeper.
