redsox
I actually had a hard time figuring out how to host box scores but when I did realize how to do it, it became very simple. To help those who may have the same problem as I did in not being able to figure this out, I have created a tutorial that will detail the steps that need to be taken to host their box scores on a website for use with their dynasty Things needed: - Free hosting site (I use tripod) - http://www.tripod.lycos.com/compare/compare.html - TyWiggins box score extractor - http://www.mvpmods.com/Downloads/details/id=3243.html Steps: - After registering with tripod, you will end up with the following screen. - You can upload files as a group (.zip file format) or upload them individually. - To upload, all you have to do is click on "upload via" and choose one of two options. - You will be taken to a screen where you will have to upload the files from your computer. Here is a screenshot. - Once you hit upload, your job is done. - All you would then have to do is grab the URL for the file that you want to post and paste it in the forum here. Your URL will usually be the following. http://user_name.tripod.com/file_name - Necessary Files to be uploaded For the box scores to show up correctly, following are the list of files that need to be uploaded. - all.css - boxscore.css - boxscorex.css - and any of the team logos that you wish to upload Hope this helps anyone who wants to post box scores in their dynasty. Admins - can this be stickied so that future users may benefit from this.

I wasn't able to figure it out at first but then once I understood how this worked, it turned out to be pretty easy to host.
TwentySeven
We need a guide to uploading MVP Sav Reader files, like this guide. Anyone?
endeavor
I am wondering how you can use it for this forum. THe main reports, etc. will be on my dynastymanager website, but for example, like POKEY's Rangers dynasty, I'd like to post my Box Scores here. How do you do that? My extracted box score always shows up as an internet link, I can't safe the pic or anything, it's just a link...can someone help me with that? This guide is if you want to link to the text-form of your box scores. If you want it in picture form, you have to take a screenshot or save the file as a .jpg and host it that way. endeavor
I want it to look like Pokey's. I guess that would be pics right? If I would use "paint" to save the box score as a .jpg file I don't see the full page and have my internet browser in the way as well...Sorry, I am still not quite understanding this
compmaniac
See if you can print the page to "Microsoft Office Document Image Writer" If you can, then it'll print the current page as an image to a .tiff file. Then you can convert that file to a .jpg and host it.

redsox
The following is a tutorial on how to upload MVPSavReader files. Please follow the above mentioned steps in creating your free website. Once you have acquired your website, you can follow these steps to upload the SavReaderFiles. Keep in mind that this is a little bit time consuming. STEP 1: Create a folder called MVPSavReader in your main directory. STEP 2: Inside that folder (MVPSavReader) create the following 5 directories: Images Logos PlayerPics Players Rosters STEP 3: Open up MVPSavReader and make sure that the Output is set to "Server" STEP 4: Once that is done, goto File->Setup Directories and modify the server output as follows. Note: This is where it gets a little bit tricky. You remember the 6 directories that we created in steps 1 and 2? We are going to have to find the URL of those directories and place them in MVPSavReader. This following picture will explain it much better. Once you have inputed the correct URLs save it. STEP 5: Your next step is to export all the necessary files that you want to export (ex: player pages, team pages, MLB pages etc...). Once again make sure that your output is set to Server. STEP 6: Next, you will have to upload all your files into the appropriate directories in your website. For example, if you had exported a player page from MVPSavReader, you would then go into your website and upload the player page into your Players folder. Player Page upload example: STEP 7: The last step is to upload all your necessary files for the website to look correctly. You will be uploading the following files in your "MVPSavReader" folder. - clubhouse2.css - clubhose.css - CustomColors.ini - master_tables.css - menu.css - menu.js - player_ie.css - player_nn.css - sb.css - sorttable.js Hope this helps you guys. If I made a mistake in of the above mentioned steps, please feel free to correct me. Thanks and take care.
silverwings1991
I also posted this on ea mods but no one replied. When I export my dynasty some of my player stats are correct, while others show 2005 totals. For example Carlos Beltran stats are season end totals, while others like Luis Castillo are current up to date in season stats. The same is true for MLB leader stats. I was wondering what causes this? :?:
sdoyle7798
To get the logos to show up on the hosted site, I had to create an "images" directory, and then in that, I had to add a "logos" directory, and put the logos in there. Anyone else have to do this?
midaz101
Redsox thanks for this great tutorial, i've followed all the steps down to a tee, however my boxscores are showing ,up all retarded missing the logos and proper borders, are all the logos, and all.css, boxscore.css, boxscorex.css supposed to be in the same folder as the actual boxscore?
