rows24
One thing that bugs me are the rosters. With all MlB players I cant stand how edited players that have fake names changed to real ones, the PA announcer still calls the old nome, like Kei Igawa gets announced as Keith Irvin. If 2k7 put a name editor in the game they should have a put a speech engine to compliment the name change. Its so stupid. The graphics are stunning of course. I dont like the feel of the controls even the the I think they left out full control to make the players animations more smooth and life like. The swing stick sometimes doesn't seem to respond like it should. It was stupid of Kush to release the game before soem of the new guys in MLB like the Japanese players played there first game. If they would have waited untiul after opening day and possibly released the game a little later than half of the players could have been in the game for real. Its stupid to have estimated rosters out before spring training even ends. I got the game and was ready to start a season but you have to wait because you know you have to wait bc rosters will change by opening day. Like 2k7, they are definitley next year need to take a little more time in realising the game. They ought to have some type of feedback forum so they can see all the issues that the real gamers have and pick the ones the would make the most significant changes to the game for improvement. angryrat
I imagine they do have a feedback forum on their website. It is foolish not to these days. Everybody business or seller has user feedback on the internet, it's inexpensive and offers instant criticism. Believe it or not, they also listen to this feedback on occassion so you shan't consider it wasted efforts.
stinkysmelly2
I freakin hate the dumb fact that the cpu steals about 99.9999999% of your homeruns. when that happens 2 times a game i smash the box
medric822
I already wrote another post about this, but they are releasing another baseball game this summer.
rows24
The game they are releasing is it called the BIGS, bc if it is I think that game will be worse. It is supposed to be arcade style.
medric822
If you can, provide a link pkease. I had a game go 16 innings, and I "hit" like seven game ending homers, but all were robbed. I ended up losing too, which ticked me off.
MudvayneRocker
yea it does rob alot of home runs, as far as the swing stick, just change the hitting mode to classic, then its just like mvp, only its way too easy to hit homers, i try to hit grounders and the worst batters still hit homers

rows24
Hey I started this forum. I have gone from disliking a few things to completely thinking the game is garbage. And it is the game is horrible. Awesome graphics but the gameplay is just horrible. And no im not saying mvp is better I dislike the game pace in mvp, its just way to fast. If you take mvps gameplay and mix it with 2k7 you have a great game. Ive got to the point where im just totally disguisted and tired of playing because no game is just quite right. This years version of 2k7 was rushed. If it wasn't for this site MVP wouldn't even be mentioned for the past two years. Is ther anyway to slow down the gameplay in MVP? medric822
I adjusted some of the sliders, not all, and I'm getting close ball games with the occasional 7-3 game.
GEOLINK
The game they are releasing is it called the BIGS, bc if it is I think that game will be worse. It is supposed to be arcade style. Good point to bring it up... nobody buy it! it's just like buying MLB 2K5: World Series Edition when you are just buying MLB 2K5 again.
jermy426
one thing that i didnt like about the game was some of the players closed stances. for example, Kevin Youkilis and Mike Lowell had these horrible closed stances. like when you swing he would step way way out with his front leg. if the pitch was outside forget about it you wouldnt hit it. it throws me off and looks horrible. mabey you can change it i dont kno i was over a friends house playing the game. medric822
There was a MLB 2005 game besides MVP? jermy426, in reply to your post, you can change their stances in the edit player mode.
