April 7th Crash/freeze

so i have a roster save that i have tweaked, changed and make pretty much perfect. Its more of a fantasy roster that has alot of my close friends included.

I have mvp 07 with the new patch installed, and whenever i try a dynasty with this file, it gets stuck simming on april 7th. The sim freezes, and the music stops and i have to Ctl-alt-del to get out of the game

note: i started this roster in mid-05 shortly after joining mvpmods, i used whatever was the newest UR back then.

heres what i have tried, AND then reverted back after each one failed. (i tried most of these before patch 2).

updating to the 2007 schedule.

tried the 07-maker

tried random sched generator

went through and made sure that there were at least 2 players in each position in the FA pool(that weren't legend), and went through and removed and replaced all of the computer signed legend players.

tried manually playing games through the 7th, and it still froze after my mlb game was over

to make sure that this wasnt a universal problem, i loaded the newest kg rosters, and tried to sim. it worked fine, and got through april without a problem.

I also tried a while back to export this team into new rosters, but gave up when all the body types, and tweaks i did got messed up.

last year, i was able to run a dynasty with the 06 LL beta version without a problem.

Does anyone know what i can do to make this dynasty work?

i've worked on these rosters since mid 05 and i'd like to make a new dynasty.

now i tried the 06 schedule, figuring that if it worked with the 06 mod and 06 sched, it should work. It still froze, i even tried the year changer. I really want to play this dynasty without going back to the 06 mod.

i also tried managing a minor league game on the 7th, and when it finished it froze before returning back to the days scheduled games.

anyone know anything i can do for this?

note:

i've played hundreds of games on this save without the dynasty. I want the dynasty to keep track of stats.

my old dynasty that was about 60 games through is MIA, plus i've overhaulled my roster a ton since then

well i finally fixed it.

i copied my 07 directory, downloaded the 06 mod agian, installed 06 over the copied directory.

went into the dynasty mode, simulated and i was able to get through a full season simmed. so i loaded it in the 07 mod folder, and it still worked.

expect a very detailed fantasy dynasty to be coming soon. i will write a huge breakdown of the entire major league roster.

this is a roster i created in 05, and tweaked over the last 2 years to my liking. all of the details of the dynasty will be in the new thread

sounds like you were using one of the older roster releases for your custom roster base. There was a known issue that has since been resolved. Glad you fixed your problem.
