MHasegawa
This has been happening for about a week since reinstalling this game. it starts fine until the loading screen for the actual ballgame begins, the loading bar creeps out 1/4 of the way then crashes. I have no idea what i could have done to cause this, any help will be greatly appreciated.
wtferrell
I was about to post the same thing. Hopefully someone can chime in here and help us out. I have the MVP 07 mod installed as well... don't know if that matters or not.

Jim825
You need to provide exact details of what you did: 1. What teams were selected? 2. What uniforms were selected? 3. Who were the starting pitchers? 4. Was the DH used? 5. What stadium was selected (and was it day or night)? 6. What mode are you playing in (exhibition, owner, franchise)? Most importantly, what mods do you have installed (rosters, faces, models.big, etc.)?
samrock67
in terms of details here they are: i installed the epic updated rosters, and tried the mvp 07 and standard rosters, but both causes crashes. I also copied and pasted the mod for the 07 schedule in. i tried playing the first game of the season in dynasty mode, with glavine and carpenter the starting pitchers, and the default home uniforms for st louis and away for mets. the dh was not used, and i was playing in busch at night. again, it was dynasty mode. i was able to play an exhibition game, where i chose an AA team as the home team and used seattle as the away team, played as seattle and was able to play the game. however, when i try playin in dynasty mode, when the ballgame starts loading, it crashes about 1/4 to 1/2 the way through. again, i have swinginsorianos epic rosters, and put in the 2007 schedule patch. game crashes in dynasty mode upon game loading but not in anything else- i can play exhibition and mini games. Please help!
wtferrell
I can't even play exhibition. I have tried w/ almost every team at home, so far, to no avail. The only things I have installed is the game itself, and the MVP 07 mod. Nothing more. I'll go into quickplay, and try to start a random game. Goes to the loading screen, gets halfway across, and crashes back to the desktop. Try to go Exhibition, start a random game, same thing. I tried Home Run derby, gets to the loading screen, crash. I have an AMD Athlon XP 2400, 1GB Ram, AGP 8x Radeon 1600x 512MB... and I can't play the game.

That doesnt matter in my case, in all game modes whether its owner, dynasty, exhibition or even the mini games it will crash just like ive described in my previous post. As of now i have the bare 2005 MVP, i was gonna mod it once i got this problem fixed.
big shmooz
Based on other info it seems that the issue may be with the initstaz.big file. Try using the fix located here.
