fundusglobus
Hi all. I recently installed MVP Baseball 07 on my comp and when I try to play it is very very choppy. Yankee4Life
I take it because the site is kind of slow loading up you posted this topic twice, so I just got rid of one of them for you. As for your problem with the game, you could use some more RAM. Also, turn things off in the background that you don't need.
evil1182
First, try defragging your system, that helps sometimes. Also, turn the player detail down or turn the helmets reflections off.
sjbushido
Could be spyware as well.. may want to try that. How much harddrive do you have remaining on your harddrive? You should have at least 15% free when doing a defragment. With the specifications you just showed, you should be able to run the game smoothly. Is it possible that you put Anti-Aliasing and Anti-scroptic filtering to the max? May want to lower those if that was a problem as well. Updating video card drivers also may assist in the problem as for there are so many fixes that could assist you in fixing your game. sjbushido
Click on Start, go to Accessories, then System Tools, Then Disk Defragmenter From there, click Analyze and then click Defragment, like i said earlier, make sure you have at least 15% hard drive free for it to run effectively. evil1182
The windows defragger kinda sucks, it takes like 8-10 hours, use a third party one, I use O&O defrag. How big is your HD?
sjbushido
Well if you were actually taking care of your system and not throwing stuff everywhere, it shouldn't take that long. =P
evil1182
Well if you were actually taking care of your system and not throwing stuff everywhere, it shouldn't take that long. =P After installing a big game you must defrag. I always wait until it's 59% fragmented before I defrag, with the windows defrag it takes 8-10hrs. and with the O&O it takes only 6hrs, I recommend you do it over night. sjbushido
Have you checked your system for Spyware? Have you ended unnecessary processes on your system (by going to CTRLALTDELETE)? Let me know if you don't know how to do this. You might just have to lower your graphic settings in your NVIDIA control panel or in the game.
