shoelessjoe19
With all the people here that do a great job with the mods, I figured this would be a great place to ask for some advice. I'm looking at making a website for my work and maybe a personal one. I was wondering what is the best software (as far as options and ease of use) to use in doing this. I'm looking for something easy to start with but as I get some knowledge and experience under my belt I would want something that will let me be a little more creative. I've heard of Front Page by Microsoft but that's about it. Any suggestions would be great, Thanks.
ronmexico
Dreamweaver is a good choice, it kind of dumbs the whole process down.

shoelessjoe19
Thanks for the suggestion. Notepad would be the the cheapest! I'm guessing you would have to know how to write html code or learn how to. Is there a website, book or anything that you would recommend to learn how to do this. I did find davesite.com, it has some tutorial lessons.
ronmexico
I learned html on v3 schools, just google v3 schools html and you'll find it. I recommend this site, cause it has an editor built in where you can see the changes right away, and what you do, and how it has a reaction to it. AstroEric
Do you mean w3c schools? Because if you don't, you should check there too. But yeah, Notepad is the best ever.
ronmexico
Yea, w3 schools, my bad...dunno why I said that. They're good for teaching noobish stuff, no java or nothing, you'll have to take a year out like the rest of us for that :D
