RaptorQuiz
Here's one. No one will get it. Well you walk into a restaurant, strung out from the road, You can feel the eyes upon you as your shaking off the cold You pretend it doesnt bother you, but you just want to explode. Most times you cant hear em talk, other times you can. Oh the same old cliche, as that woman on her a man You always see my number, you dont dare make a stand. How did no one answer this? Come on! Bob Seger, "Turn the Page." Covered by many, many people - including Metallica.
DylanBradbury
Okay, here's the answer: Timothy by The Buoys.... Full lyrics can be found here. And, without googling, can anyone name the band's lead singer? Hint: If you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain, you might know him. RdSoxFan618
I don't know, DylanBradbury but I'm going to add one. This one is from 2003. "Ski mask (Check!), Sawed off (Check!), Guilty conscience, fear of death (Check! Check! Check!) [Title of song] when he stumbled upon what he thought was going to be another means to the end. Silence! Sirens! It all went down like his nightmare the night before. I don't want to hear, I don't want to be near, I do what I got to do just to keep my nose clean." You can answer DylanBradbury's or mine.

It's "Everything Went Numb"... ...I'm not 100% sure of the band name (without looking it up, which would be cheating), but I THINK it's "Street Light Manifest" or something like that...??? (Maybe Manifesto?)
RaptorQuiz
Here's one: Time is nothing when you've nothing to lose. Don't you know, that you can't hide something, When it's living in... living in you? ...or you could take a shot at the song lyrics in my sig. :)

AstroEric
Y4L knows what it's like to be the sad man Behind Blue Eyes. (Anybody ever listen to the Lifehouse Chronicles?) EDITED to add: The Who sang this song. Apparently, Limp Bizkit did a version too, which makes me feel like hiring someone to kneecap Fred Durst. If you were thinking of the Limp Bizkit version, Y4L, then prepare yourself for my wrath. Here's mine: And at the desktop there's crying sounds For all the projects due And noone else is around And the sprinklers that come on at 3 am Sound like crowds of people asking "Are you happy what you're doing?" Becky wondered why She'd never noticed dragonflies Her drag and click had never yielded Anything as perfect as a dragonfly

I was thinking of The Who when I put those song lyrics up because they are the only group I've ever heard sing this song. It's one of my favorites and The Who is one of my favorite groups. As for your song lyric, I once again in this thread throw in the towel. I can't place the song.
