The Redwings are killing the Flames, so the Flames switch goalies, right away he starts to slash Johan Franzen, and is called for a penalty. Franzen skates by and that a$$ slashes him for no reason! Then the CAPTAIN of the team, Jerome Iginla cross-checked Mathieu Schnieder from behind! If that backup goalie, and at least the coach don't get suspended for the next game at least, I will be pissed. I bet the Flames wanted this to happen and didn't want to get Kiprasoff suspended. It was almost like when the then Temple head coach (I think) John Chaney put in one of his players as a "goon" to hurt one of the opposition's players. And what was Iginla's problem? No one did anything to him and I think there was another scuffle after that where someone just randomly started cross-checking Draper. Emmerick finally mentioned it at the end of the game when detroit got the goalie interference call. If you ask me, Detroit were playing like a bratty bantam team. Calgary went overboard sending a message but they had to do something.
