medric822
There seems to be several problems with it. Exactly what, I'm not sure. You'll have to use the search forum button.
larsonwd
It's worked for me without any issues
MarkB
Getting a new CPU won't bear any relation to how MVP works other than the speed. As long as the CPU specification matches or is greater than the minimum CPU requirements for the game, it has no relation to whether the game will operate or not. Hogfan2502
I'm not trying to improve the game by any means. My cpu is 5 years old and maxed out on memory, etc. I just need a new one for all uses. Just wondering if it would work on Vista?
Mav3rek
I had vista ultimate and it made the game run extremely slow. I'm talking 14-15 FPS. Once I went back to XP I now get the normal 50-60 FPS.
farkwhar
for the guy who's game runs to slow with vista but more RAM... worked for me... if you have vista basic you will have some issues... it's the nature of the beast... all are correctable but it takes some searching for updated drivers etc... also some video card drivers will help speed the game up on vista if you have Nvidia products... I am not familiar with the radeon stuff... it's usually not as fast as Nvidia however so post what video card (model and maker) you are using... Stories
I'm using Vista Home Basic and no problems here. The issue (as has been the issue all along) is that MVP doesn't support widescreen resolutions. I'm even running on craptastic integrated GMA X3000 from Intel.
dgutierrez32
I'm running it on Vista Premium, it has given me a few problems. The xbox360 controller didn't install correctly, although the game looks great on my ati radeon x1950 pro. Hearing the couple guys in this thread without problems gives me optimism though, I'll try to re-install everything and see if it works.
Guildster
Runs fine on Vista Premium for me. Any problems should be driver related for the next few weeks so make sure you keep up on the latest video and audio drivers. Also, and contrary to what MS states for Vista Basic, avoid installing Vista on any machine with less than one gig of RAM. Preferably two.
dgutierrez32
I re-installed the game this morning and I fixed the problem I had (new portraits not being installed). Does anybody with Vista use the Xbox360 controller? And if so, have you managed to get it working properly? And of course, please explain in detail if so...I'm tired of using the left button to throw to second base and not having a pickoff pitch available.
