farkwhar Posted May 4, 2007 Share Posted May 4, 2007 or go to configure controller and load the closet profile to your game pad... my runners were slidding into first and that was the problem... you may have to tweaqk it after you load the profile... I expieremented and found that my game pad worked better with a lower game pad profile than it was intended for... mine was a 12 4 2 and worked better and corrected the sliding problem with a 12 2 2 generic profile... just try them all til it corrects the problem... walkinman Posted June 27, 2007 Author Share Posted June 27, 2007 After uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and trying the above suggestions and other configurations, I noticed that the game was listing 5 axis' for my controller. It only has 4, so I chose a generic 11 button 4 axis pad and that fixed things. I had also forgotten that the game doesn't like some functions remapped. Thanks for the assist.
