InSainn Posted April 30, 2007 Share Posted April 30, 2007 I'm trying to install the KSM Overlay 07 and the game kept crashing on me when I would goto play a game. Well, I had two different MVP folders installed, one for MVP 07 and one for Total Classics, the overlay worked fine on Total Classics. That prompted me to uninstall my MVP 07 (because I had so many mods installed that it was impossible to pinpoint the problem) and reinstall MVP 07 in a different location with no other mods installed. I installed the original game, worked fine. Ran the 07 Total Conversion Mod, still worked fine. Then, I installed the overlay and it started crashing again. This leads me to believe it's something in the 07 Mod that's clashing with the overlay. Furthermore, I think it's something to do with the latest patch of 07 because I think there are others running the overlay fine with an unpatched 07 Mod. I also ran an 'overlay-update.exe' that I downloaded from EAMods, hoping it would fix the problem but still to no avail. So could someone, anyone out there help me? InSainn Posted May 1, 2007 Author Share Posted May 1, 2007 I've experimented a lil more with this and installed a different overlay but didn't change the datafile or the file that goes in the igshapes folder and it worked fine. So there's nothing wrong with either of those two so it's gotta be somethin with the 2 files in the frontend folder. Hopefully that's a lil help if there's anyone lookin into this...
