krawhitham
it has nothing to do with the rosters recalibrate your joystick, sounds like one of the analog stick is a little off center.

carter
It sounds like your gamepad is broken. Get a new one. First try taking it apart. I had a problem awhile ago where button 10 was always pressed down. I took it apart and it fixed the problem.

RaptorQuiz
unplug it and plug it back in I've always had to do this - after starting the game and getting to the main menu - every time since I've had this game. I start the game and once at the main menu. Unplug controller. Wait for the sound that indicates "USB Device Unplugged" (Dah-dum)... then after a second or two, wait for it to make the sound indicating "USB Device Attached" (dah-ding!) If I don't remember to do this every time, all my pitches go down and away from righties, and I swing for grounders inside every time with righty hitters. :)
