kgbaseball
I think he just means how we come up with the numbers. Miss/Chase/Take are all estimated guess depending on the hitter. The more a hitter strikes out, the higher his Miss and Chase pitches will be, etc. Power and contact are based off formulas. Hot zone can be found on some sites, but is mostly made up. better hitters have more red/less blue, lefties have more red down in the zone, etc. Hit charts don't have any effect on the game (at least I don't think so, other than showing up in player info screens), so you can find info on them and plug in the accurate numbers. I think that hit chart has some effect on the game. I think the opposing team positions their defence according to the hit chart of the player. RedsFan1970
I don't mean to hijack this post, but Krawitham you're mean sometimes. You have to understand that there are a lot of members of this message board that are from countries where english isn't their first language. Most of the time if you read carefully you can understand what they are trying to ask. I think we should all try to be a little more patient with our non-english speaking friends. Sorry for the rant, but I hate when people act like smart asses just because someone doesn't speak perfect english.
