genchildren65
in game, he looks like this: interesting, on this one, you can see the face file on the back of his head:
kgbaseball
It's either one of two things: either he's listed as an 04 face and you have a 05 face for him in the game, or he's listed as an 05 face and you have 04 face files for him in the game. genchildren65
what would be the best way of checking to see which is installed and how to change it?
redsox
MVPEdit or MVPEditor by TyWiggins.
kgbaseball
MVPEdit. Download it, open up the roster file (I think you're using mine, because I accidentally have Derrek listed as an 05 face, when it should be an 04 face, in the standard version). Under the Appearance tab, change 04 Face to Yes, export the roster, and you're all set.
genchildren65
yeah, i am using yours... thanks a lot for the help!
kgbaseball
If you can't figure out how to use MVPEdit or make the changes, I'll have a new roster update in a couple days. Thanks for alerting me to the Derrek Lee face problem. It's been fixed for the next update.
genchildren65
i did what you said with the mvpedit and still have the same result... its probably just that i'm not proficient with the program... not a surprise there though!
redsox
KG, MVPEdit changes for cyberfaces should take effect for an already started dynasty as well right? genchildren65, if MVPEdit doesn't seem to work for you, try using TyWiggins MVPEditor. You can run that program while in your dynasty and can change a number of things - among which is the option to change from an 05 face to an 04 face or vice versa. Hope that helps. JP_Frost
I think I know the problem -- you're probably using an 05 face fsh file with 04 face ord and orl files. Try downloading Derrek Lee's face from this site and install it again.
Homer
KG, MVPEdit changes for cyberfaces should take effect for an already started dynasty as well right? mvpedit alone will not do this. you gotta use one of ty's programs to make changes to your dynasties. redsox
mvpedit alone will not do this. you gotta use one of ty's programs to make changes to your dynasties. Then, that very well could be the problem that he is having. genchildren65, you would need to use TyWiggins MVPEditor to make changes to an already started dynasty/owner mode. Also, are you exporting your .DAT files to the database folder after making your changes in MVPEdit?
genchildren65
yeah, i exported the .dat files and installed them... the thing is, i think it may have fixed the problem with mvpedit... i went into the player edit screen (not in a dynasty) and his face was fixed there. my dynasty however, his face is the same. i think i need to do what some of you are saying with ty's mvp editor. i've never used that program so i'll have to mess around with it to try and fix it in my dynasty. thanks for all the help!
