redsox
I have a friend who wants to make a copy of a video. Can someone tell me how I can hook up a VCR to another VCR? Should I go through the TV for it to work? And also would the regular 3-prong cable (I have it going from my TV to my VCR) work? Also, would it be possible to hookup the VCR to the computer and have the computer record the video? One of my friends mentioned that I would need some sort of a all-in-one video card? Is that the only way or could I use maybe a PCI slot? Thank you very much for the help. Take care.
Homer
yes you can. you simply can plug your vcr to each other. so VCR 1. input the cable into this one. then take the outputs from VCR 1 to the inputs of VCR 2. take the outputs of VCR 2 to the inputs of the tv. simple as that. and yes you can use those A/V cables. you can do the same basic idea to your computer. you just need a video card that has some sort of input (S-video is pretty common). but then you just need to have a conversion cord that can fit both ends. pretty much any computer store should have them. then you just need to correct software to record. krawhitham
Pick up one of those $50 recordable DVD players. Run the VCR into that
