What's your favorite wooden bat?

Medric, you aren't a moderator. You can't judge the other threads.

I love Easton bats. Anyway, i use aluminium bats too.

Whats having to be a moderator have to do with judging threds? I'll admit, it is an odd thred, but here's my take on it. To me, a bat is a bat. When I played ball, I'd use the bat of someone who's doing good. Call it supersticious.

Hey, just because you don't like this thread you don't have to say that is weird.

Anyway, you are too much supersticious.

Btw, thread, not thred.

You do realize this site has a great deal to do with baseball, correct?

I bought a cheap wooden bat, and it broke during my first time in the cage. Whose signature was on it? A-Rod. I've got a Manny Louisville slugger now and it's much better.

I used to have a ManRam bat and my friend asked me if he could use it for BP. I didn't think anything would happen, but he busted it. ******* never paid me for it, either.

I really only use aluminum, but in a wood bat league last year I used the crappy Hoosier bat they gave everyone. It cracked in two different spots on the barrel, so I only use it as a fungo now.

In the cages I use a 32/29 Easton that I bought last year because it has an extremely thin barrel and it really makes me focus on hitting the center of the ball.

Does that help you in games? I might try that...

it did last year, I hit .572 in conference and .409 throughout the entire year. But maybe that's because I was playing everyday, since our RF broke his arm. I was hitting over .300 for most of the year until now, I'm in somewhat of a slump. Actually, my stats our online do you want to see the link?

does anyone else have stats online? maybe we should just make a new thread about them

Oh my- I never said I didn't like this thread. Thanks for correcting me too.

Back on topic, my sophmore year of baseball, this one guy had this aluminum bat, it was green, and I cant remember who made it first off, but man, that bat wa awesome!

In our league, they are switching to wood bats as from next year. I think it was a stupid move from the association, because 80-85% of the league cannot hit the ball consistently off the sweet spot......but I'm not complaining........as a pitcher, this was a good move. hehe.

I prefer wood bats. Wood, by the crack it makes you can judge how far its going. Metal, its always "DING!"

I agree. I can't stand that ding. Nothing sounds and feels better than a well-hit ball off a wooden bat.

Btw, we played against the champions today. I was the starting pitcher.......lost 12-2. We gave up a bunch of errors in the 5th. Score was 2-0 for us until that 5th inning. I was pitching really well, hitting corners and mixing pitches. Then I lost concentration after all those errors. S..t happens

Sure I'll take a look. I've never seen online baseball stats other than for pro ball.

Aw, did you weasel1238 out? Lol, jk. I know the feeling to lose big, but not as a pitcher though.

It kinda pisses you off actually. You're painting corners, getting batters to hit weak ground balls or pop flys, and your defense doesn't make the plays.

But anyway, this is :offtopic:
