ClevelandRock
I downloaded Ultimate Rosters 8.2 and I used MVPedit to import the Legends and Heroes, because I don't like the MOD Squad and Forum Fanatic. However, installing UR doesn't change the FEENG.LOC file, and that's the only way to change team names I could find on this forum. How do I change them back to "MVP Heroes" and "MVP Legends"? I also want to change the abbreviations to "HRO" and "LEG." Thanks…

ClevelandRock
team.dat. org.dat. Gaaah! Make up your mind! XD Actually, it looks like I'm supposed to edit both files. For future reference, if I overwrite these two files with the default MVP Baseball 2005 files, will that do anything bad to the rosters? Edit: Oh, that was a stupid question. It would be a better idea to just edit them. Thanks a lot, Mr. Baseball. To be honest, I liked what you did with your Heroes and Legends teams better, but I still prefer the original Heroes and Legends. If only there was a way to add completely new teams. Thanks again. kgbaseball
I accidentally double posted with both of them, but org.dat is only used to change the names in MVPEdit, not the game. I don't think there's any other way to change the names without using loclook.

Those options are grayed out (i.e., read-only) for me. Is there some sort of secret version newer than 2006.2? Edit: Oh, and, like I said, there was no need to use LOC Look to change the names back because the LOC file was not changed in the first place.
