JBaechtold Posted May 8, 2007 Share Posted May 8, 2007 I have an hour train ride each day, and mvp has been a great way to pass the time for the past couple of years. And this site is amazing. I just downloaded the 2007 mod and the accompanying roster updates. One request, please - the players aren't the correct ages. The skillset has changed with the roster updates, but they are still the same age as they were in 2005. I try to make my seasons as "realistic" as possible - not taking advantage of computer AI on trades and stuff. And, to have Helton on the Rockies still only 31 is a small frustration. By the way, I don't know if you live in the NY area, but the major radio show today in NY (Mike and the mad dog) described the Clemens signing as an act of desperation. A.) They were only bidding against themselves as the Astros weren't doing anything and the Red Sox don't need Clemens. B.) They are breaking the "yankee rules" - like when Damon had to cut the hair - by allowing Clemens to come and go and travel as he pleases. If you look back at the stats, he had a 3.9 ERA the last 3 years in NY. And, last year, he averaged under 6 inning s a start. How is that going to help a team with an overtaxed bullpen?
