whitewolf
Hi everybody. I used to have no problems with the game, but ever since I started a Mariners' owner mode, about 50-75% of the time the monitor gives up when finishing a game (i.e. when making the transition from the box score-quit menu to the menu where it shows the two pitchers, their box score, who got the win etc.; essentially when it makes the transition from game-mode to owner-mode). Today I even got it when putting in a relief pitcher. Symptoms: The computer is fine, but the monitor behaves as if there's no input. Turning it on and off does nothing, plugging it in and out of the power outlet achieves nothing. I've tried actually removing the cable from the comp (so the monitor was connected to sth only via the power cable) and it said 'no signal'. I've lowered the graphical quality, both in the game and through the ATI Tools utility that came with the board. I've even tried playing at a display frequency of 60, no result. Has anyone encountered this?
big shmooz
This is a joke, right?
superciuc
It never happened for me. Does it happens only in the owner mode?
whitewolf
Not a joke. Been testing 'Play Now' mode with 1-inning long games, will report back Edit: Allright. Problem seems :wynar: to be solved. Just in case somebody else has this problem or sth. similar, here's what to do: - Try owner mode/dinasty mode with another team. The Mariners seem to be cursed on my installation of MVP 07, the Brewers or your average AA team aren't. - Lower the quality of your graphics card output (i.e. change texture preference and mid-map detail level - should usually be done with the application that came w/your card) - Make sure the graphics card is firmly stuck in the slot. Ditto for the monitor cables that go into the computer. - Turn V-sync on, both in the game and outside (i.e. in the graphics settings of your card).
