HuPeRcHiLd
I know that it says just push up on the right analog but this has never worked for me? Can it be done all the time? I'm I doing something wrong? Thanks
pangderx
This is obvious, but you have to make sure the catcher has the ball or the runner won't hit him. It works fine for me. I have a Logitech Wingman Cordless and pushing up on the right stick works. Try pushing up when you are halfway down the baseline. You will either railroad the catcher or slide headfirst. HuPeRcHiLd
How often, would you say, that you are able to hit the catcher? [Once a game? Once every 5 games? Multiple times a game?]
Guest
Is there a way to Collide with a PC keyboard? I doubt this but Just to clear things up :)
KerryW
Is there a way to Collide with a PC keyboard? I doubt this but Just to clear things up If you can actually use any keys as the right analog then yeah, if not then it's unlikely 8)
Guest
I can slide home though :)
pangderx
Bottom line is this...if you are in a position to hit the catcher, then chances are you are out. Most people will turn back to third or not even try. Like I said the catcher has to have the ball long before you get to the plate. If you are halfway home and the catcher has the ball, you can hit him and you will most likely be out. I have never seen the catcher drop the ball. If it is at all a close play, you won't hit him, you'll slide headfirst.
YanksAllDaWay81
I was just playing around and testing some mods a few weeks ago, put the difficulty on rookie, hit a triple, stole home(i was fooling around) and just as i was about to get to home i pressed the headfirst slide combo and railed the cather, he dropped the ball and i was safe. I have only been able to do it twice.
cybernetic
I think if you use a big guy and the catcher is a relatively smaller guy it should be easier

YanksAllDaWay81
you posted in a similar topic when i answered how to take a lead. When you set the buttons not only could you lead but you can slide as well. Sometimes is varies my the persons controls but before you reach a base try holding shift + pressing numpad 8 If this doesnt work try numpad 4 or

bigbully
you people need to buy a controller (I recommend Saitek 880) - I cannot imagine trying to use a keyboard! Sports games are meant to be played w/controllers.
drovebykeptgoing1
Sounds to me like they dont have any money left to buy a controller that is a must for most Ea. games b/c they spent it all on a video card that lets them minimize the game without crashing b/c they have "something" else to do for a minute >> sheeeeesh , then call everyone morons ! LMFAO!! Yea im in the middle of getting my *** kicked in my dynasty so Ill minimize midgame to fix it ! heh heh LMFAO again!! if they had a controller they might win one sometime, guest wrote:You do that because: 1) ... Whenever my game has crashed, it hasn't actually crashed, it's been been minimized. It crashes when I hit the icon on the toolbar and try to bring the game back again. So is there a card that allows you to do that? If not, I'll just keep what I have. anything NON-Nvidia guest wrote: Didn't I Just answer his question in the first few post? .... Morons...
