pangderx Posted August 24, 2004 Share Posted August 24, 2004 I asked this a week or so ago and got no response, so I ask again. When you guys play dynasty's, do you sim most of them or play? I sim most of the year...and play about 1 or 2 games each month of the season. How far has anyone gotten? So far, I am into the 2016 season. I don't use too many tweaks, but the player progression really gets to me sometimes. In my dynasty, it's 2016 and a lot of current players are still playing into their mid-40's. I'm not sure that would really happen. Do you guys notice any cool stats from retiring players? I noticed a few things: Gary Sheffield retired at age 45 with over 800 HR. Alex Rodriguez is sitting on the bench for the Yanks with 800 HR and 4000 hits. Derek Jeter is on the bench at AAA with over 4200 hits. Mariano Rivera retired at age 46 with 845 saves. I noticed also that the front office is none too forgiving, After 10 straight Division titles, and 4 World Series wins, I had an off year. I finished 4th in the AL East and was fired. So I went to the Twins and took them to the World Series in 2 years. I would like to see what some other dynasty players do? Some games i will not feel like playing if i think my team is gonna blow out the opposing pitcher or something like that. Viceman2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Share Posted August 26, 2004 I usually sim most of my games. i play when i go against rivals or strong teams (such as NYY and STL) I play all star game and the World Series.
