so, where are roster defaut mbe when you install your game, I don't see this file.

.mbe file is used by mvp edit. I think that this file .mbe has all those thigs(stats, attri., hot/cold zone ....) compressed in it and mvp edit uncompresses it. The game saves the rosters in the .sav format, not the .mbe format. In other words, you can`t find the.mbe file unless you used the mvp edit and if you then this file should be in C:Program FilesMVPedit

Wow

All I can say is Hukked on foniks

I feel like an english teacher reading this thread.

I don't know what "does it's possible" mean, and I am pretty sure defaut has an "L" in it.

yes english isn't my first language.

could you tell me where I could found the roster defaut file when I install the game and how open this file with mvp edit because mpv edit use only mbe file and he seems to me that roster default file isn't an mbe file.

thanks

You can also import .DAT files using MVPEdit. Goto File->Import->.DAT files and navigate to your database folder. It should then ask you to provide a name for the file. Once you have done that, you will be able to edit the rosters.

Hope that makes sense. Take care.

The default rosters are in the MVP Baseball 2005 data database folder.

The rosters are the .dat files in the folder.

ok there are in the dat.format , so how I can import them in mvp edit and make the change I want if mvp edit doesn't read dat format.

I mean I have downloaded all timers roster mbe file, and if I want take 3 or 4 player in this file and put them in my game what I must do with mvp edit because I try but that doesn't works.

Here what I do.

1/ I open all roster with mvp edit

2/ I put wanted player in the export windows, after that save as player, ect....

3/ I export the player but there aren't here in my game.

Could you tell me what I must do right step by step.

PS : I want to play with epic III roster file and I would add 3 or 4 player s of all timers roster file in the epic III roster.

thanks for all your help friends but english isn't my first language and it's difficult for me to understand all your word so I need a step by step help.

Off topic but,

Jim, did you get the e-mail I sent you?

If you're talking about the two messages with the pictures for the '88 mod, then yes, I did get them. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.

MVPEdit DOES read .DAT files. When MVPEdit opens, click on File and then Import and then DAT Files
