mvp23
Man, I just got my first speeding ticket. I was driving 53mph in the 35mph street and just before I got pulled over I was thinking about getting the radar. My question is, If I choose the option where I plead guilty, attend the traffic school and avoid the conviction on my driving record by attending traffic school; Will the COPS still have the record of the ticket in their computers? krawhitham
yes once you plead guilty your insurance company can find out, most to not bump your rate for one ticket All the school is doing for you is taking the points you got for the ticket back off back off your record The ticket will remain but no points attached to it, well at least that is the way it works in Ohio
seanzarelli
I got pulled over for running a stop sign (at 5am nonetheless), and was to have 4 points deducted. I decided to go to court, plead guilty and the judge told me I could take some driving class (like 8 hours) so I did that. Paid the fee and everything and come to find out, there was no points taken off on my license and there was no record of ever receiving a ticket. So it must vary by state. This was in South Carolina by the way. And my insurance never went up or anything as well.
