Mat
hi guys, i am kinda new to the whole baseball scene. Can anyone help decide which is the best and most realistic way to play a single season on MVP. I started a dynasty with the Cubs but i hate having to work on contracts, etc for next year. I prefer to play each game instead of manage. can anyone help me? also, what is the most accurate roster to use? I want be able to start with the correct roster from opening day and follow the team changes that have occured during the season (for example picking up Nomar at the end of july) Thanks, Mat
KerryW
I'm not sure what you mean about the "roster progression" part, but if you want an opening day roster, Kerm's roster is your best bet....In your case I'd play a season with budgets turned off, along with CPU trades... Also, make sure that you get Rolie's datafile, which includes a new pitch selector and icons, along with TV realistic fielding, pitching, and batting views.. Mat
thanks for the help. what does fair trades, cpu initiated trades mean? i assume trade deadline means that if set to no, there is no july 31st deadline?
chipper3344
fair trades means exactly what it says "fair." if its turned on you cant trade barry bonds for some no name guy. it has to be a fair and equal trade. cpu intitiated trades if turned on means the computer will try to negotiate trades with you.
