KennyRie2
Hey guys, I am having a problem with MVP07, I am using a Logitech Rumblepad 2. It a great gamepad and allowed me a lot of big plays. But in MVP07 a couple of those big plays do not happen. I have a very quick reaction so i let my players dive into the balls direction very quickly, but using MVP07 those commands are often ignored, sometimes the player gets the ball without a dive, or he dive way to late, or even the worst, he doesn't go into the direction of the ball. I use "Manual" Fielding setting, but in the original game it was no problem, players reacted immediately but now they don't react, by the way there is a huge circle around the players in which they ignore big play control too. And my other problem is that wrong players are chosen. For example, I had a game at Tropicana Field, and there was a easy line drive into center field, My Centerfielder was already chosen and heading into the right direction, BUT THEN the player was deselected and ran into the opposing direction... he missed the easy catch and the result was a triple instead of a sure out (and that problem happen extremly often now) On the other hand, that problem allowed me to score on an inside the park home run by a BUNT. Sounds weird I know, but i bunted the pitcher tried to get the out at second, and the bal sailed into the outfield, but the outfielder was just ignoring it, and walked away from the ball and never back to pick it up. (everything against the computer). But anyway, this problem bugs me a lot because many sure out or spectecular diving plays have become into missed catches. Is there any possibility to lower that circle i have spoken of, that indicates the non diving play area, or is that problem a known issue anyway? Last question by the way. Has the Pitchmeter become way less forgiving then in the original MVP. I have never thrown so many balls or hit batters (without changing the difficulty level). Well that were a lot of questions, thanks for reading, and i hope you have an idea.
