I'm doing a school research study about baseball lineups, and this is part of it. So, I'd like you all to attempt to take this quick survey, answering as honestly as you can. It's not like it's something you would want to lie on anyway, there wouldn't be much point. So thanks a lot for taking it and thanks for your cooperation!

I took it last night and I must say that it took me a little longer than I expected. I guess filling out a lineup card is not as easy at you would think.

Would have been nice to see L/R splits, since I think that has the largest affect on filling out a lineup card outside OBP/SLG.

Yeah, thats what I wanted to see as well. I for one dont like to have 3 players bat from the same side of the plate unless one of them is a switch hitter.

Thanks guys! I've added how the player bats, so let me know if you think I should delete all previous results, and start over again, or just leave it like it is, and use the splits just for all previous ones. And the page asking you to register is just the default page that I can't change, you still submitted the results.

I guess I'll wait for about 100-150 results, and then I'll show them to you all. Again, thanks for filling it out!

Here's a graph from the site with the total results so far:

I'd be interested to know what some individual results were. (You have to pay for that stuff, so I don't have access to it, just totals.) The hardest decision for someone, probably, is Player 3, who has 39 homers and 41 stolen bases. Do you bat him around cleanup with his power, or more like leadoff with his speed?

I put him at cleanup, his OBP isn't good enough to justify hitting him leadoff, especially when you have another 30+ stolen base guy with a higher OBP in the lineup anyway.

My batting order was as follows from first to ninth: 5, 7, 2, 3, 4, 1, 8, 6, Pitcher. The graph doesn't work btw, just thought I'd point that out.

ok, I wasn't sure if it only worked if you're on my account, so I'll have to get another way to show the data.

I put player 3 2nd because I like his speed, and his HR can contribute with more RBIs in the two spot.

5, 3, 7, 2, 1, 8, 4, 6, P

That's my order

Ok, MAJOR change. Turns out I kind of messed up with another side of the experiment, which involved a simulation program. So, I've redone it, this time with a different set of stats. I'm leaving it up until about 1:30 tommorow, so please take a few minutes and take it again if you already did, or just for the first time. Sorry for the inconvenience. :? Again, thanks.

Almost forgot the link (same as before): http://freeonlinesurveys.com/rendersurvey....lv11ceg3l302328
