Mav3rek Posted May 18, 2007 Share Posted May 18, 2007 I don't think there is a tutorial... but after you install mvp edit do the following: 1) click on import 2 a) choose your program filesea sportsmvp baseballdatadatabase folder 2 you can choose to save the file as anything you wish. pick a name and then hit save. 3) click ok 4) wait, it will load and will take a minute or so. 5) make the changes you want 6) click export 7) choose your program filesea sportsmvp baseballdatadatabase folder click ok 9) click yes to overwrite files. 10) enjoy! Opinions. Can you give a step by step on how you are adding the players to the free agent list. Also, how many players are in your free agents? Also, before you export, are you making sure that the database folder is double clicked? (the graphic will show that the folder looks to have been opened when it is double clicked) here what I do : 1/ I open MVP edit 2/ I click on FILE, IMPORT, DAT FILE, DATA, DATABASE 3/ I save the file under a name 4/ My default roster file is now available in the MVP edit program 5/ I choose the FA list, 6/I click FILE, IMPORT,PLAYERS and I add the all time players that I want in the FA list ( I add and not replace) 7/ I click on FILE , EXPORT, DATAFILE , 8/ I open the DATA...DATABASE (folder open) and overwrite. 9/ I run my game, but added players aren't in my FA available list, only original defaut roster are here.
