That was my thought also. Now I won't have to waste Sledge as a pinch runner, he's been hitting a ton so far.

ive been using Cruz as lead off, he's been doing pretty good, his spedd isnt that good, but i do get hits from him

I may have to do that also, but I have him platooning with Sledge. I guess either or could hit leadoff.

Thanks. And yeah, the D-Backs have started the season on quite a roll. I first noticed once they were 7-0 and was like wow, but now I'm just annoyed. After every game I play I check their record first to see if I gained a game or lost a game. Hopefully I can break though against them when I play them in the series after this Cubs one coming up.

Thanks. And yeah, being swept sucked especially after I had an 8-4 lead with Chris Young on the mound, then he went out and just gave it right back and then some. I went into the bottom of the 5th with the 8-4 lead and tried to just get him through the inning so he could get the win, but he only got 1 out in the inning and ended up giving up 6 runs. Jeff Kent, Furcal, and Pierre are machines. And at the end of game Beimel, Broxton, and Saito all just completely shut me down. It was ridiculous. lol.

Will do! The thing that sucks the most is that I had the lead in at least 2 of the games, maybe all 3. The Dodgers are just hard to handle with Pierre, and Furcal at the top of the lineup. It seems Pierre would hit a gap shot, get a triple to lead off the game, and then Furcal would follow with the same thing, and then a sac fly from Nomar and I'm down 2-0 before I can blink.

Thanks. Yeah, I kept trying to just chip away, but time ran out and I just didn't have enough. Their bullpen just shut my batters down. I roughed up their starters, but the 'pen just killed me.

Thanks. Yup, they are making an early statement. I hope they cool off soon because I play them 5 times in like the next 2 weeks. Also hopefully they calm down so that I can start making up some ground.

yeah, that's why I'm not upset at all about being that far back. It's early, and instead of it being unrealistic and me being 40-1 it looks like I'll have a somewhat realistic record, and that makes it just that much more fun for me.
