Knuckleball Lover
Is there a way in the datafile or sliders to get the CPU to relieve their SP better/more reliably as they tire? I had a good game ruined by this. I was up 5-3 in the 7th against Liriano and he was tired with the bullpen warmed up. The CPU left Liriano in until his stamina meter was almost gone and by then it was 10-3 It was 6-3 but then I hit a grand slam with Delmon Young - which probably wouldn't have happened if Liriano wasn't about to drop from fatigue. I notice the AI does this way too often. I also think they game penalizes tired pitchers too much (both for me and the AI) and it makes it hard for me to get a good balance. I feel I want to lower offense to account for this, but then the pitchers own too much when they are full of energy. Is there a way to get relieving done better or at least lower the penalty for pitching while tired? I'm using MVP
superciuc
Just put the pitcher's stamina up in your sliders.
Knuckleball Lover
Just put the pitcher's stamina up in your sliders. That made too many complete games. I like SP to tired after 6/7 innings. I don't want them to get KILLED in the process and I don't want the CPU to leave the pitcher in there to get killed.
angryrat
no, you make is so the pitcher gets tired earlier, it helps a little. also, what i started doing was, switching sides when i felt the CPU should change the pitcher. Switch the sides, swap him out, and switch back. You just have to be honest with yourself, and manage the game for the CPU like they want to win. I've had that issue a few times that you mention. One CPU pitcher walked 6 straight guys in the 8th inning of one of my games... He may have kept doing it if i didn't stop him, but that's when I decided I needed to take things over myself.
