I think i have a very good team.. I have a good Lineup that can hit and steal bases. And i have a good pitching staff.. But i think i can improve the utility position and i really don't want to pick up Konerko from waivers until he shows signs of being alive, and that means raising his batting average.

What guys on this team should i give up to improve that spot..

I'm after this guys...

*Travis Hafner

*Carlos Delgado (right now i think i can pull i'm and Hamels on the same deal)

*Jason Bay

*Miguel Cabrera

*Carlos Lee

There's more guys besides the ones i named, but i don't think it's worth to involve myself in those in those trades cause i'm doing pretty good..

Especially this week, i'm winning my matchup 9-1-0 (ERA, grrrrr)

Here's the link for you guys..

Thanks

How is Konerko a free agent? Unless there are only 8 teams or less, he should at least be on someone's roster. I know his BA is still under .200, but his HRs and RBIs aren't too far off.

Take it from a White Sox fan. He always has a bad two-month stretch and the other 4 months even it out and he'll hit .285-ish. He's only had one truly bad year with the BA, probably 5 years ago now, and he hit something like .240.

In fact, the whole White Sox lineup has struggled. You'll want to have Konerko when the whole team heats up. Dye has already started. Hopefully, Crede and Iguchi are next.

Jim Thome has missed the past three weeks and is due back after the Cubs series. Konerko should bat after him and before Dye when he comes back. Erstad and whoever is in the #2 spot will be on base more often when Thome hits after them as they'll see better pitches. Thome's OBP is .500-ish. Konerko is not a career .190 hitter, you can do the math of what his BA and RBIs should do.

Obviously, I'm biased towards the White Sox, but hopefully that offers some insight as to the Konerko part of the equation.

It's a 10 team league.. 2 divisons.. Yeah, i think is crazy that Konerko is a free agent, everybody in this league is playing daily, but many guys are making big mistakes.. i mean i pick up Grady Sizemore and Rich Harden from the Waiver list.. :yernuts:

I brought the pitching thing up, because Bronson Arroyo is a free agent, just like Buerlhe, and A.J. Burnett (is really starting to pitch well) that's why i think i can afford to trade somebody.. Tampa Bay Shields is being a suprise i really don't think is gonna keep this up..Probably i'll sell high.

And OMG, Dan Uggla is on waivers.. :yernuts:
