RedSoxFox7
It's hard to describe. The play by play is fine at a normal pace, and when I'm pitching or hitting it seems to be at an OK pace. But in what I guess you could call cutscenes, or actual play in the field, all the animations seem to be accelerated from what'd they'd be in real life. For example, the throw meter for fielders fills almost instantly, guys like David Ortiz are getting down to first within a few seconds, and outfielders are unloading balls ridiculously fast. It's still playable, and the accelerated pace is across the board so there isn't any unfairness, it's just a bit unrealistic. I was having some problems with MVP crashing which I eventually tracked back to my video card's fan, but in the process I did a full uninstall/reinstall and installed MLB07 at the same time. I also recently updated my video card drivers before figuring out the fan problem. I've got an Athlon 2500+, Radeon 9700 (using Omega drivers), and 1GB PC2700 RAM. Has anyone had this problem before? Is it something I can fix, either by making changes to MVP or maybe even to my video card settings? Or is it something I'm just going to have to get used to? RedSoxFox7
Wow, you guys are so freakin' helpful. In the amount of time it took both of you to post, either one of you very easily could have told me to make sure VSync was on within the game and in my video settings. In Windows: Turn on vsync and set your refresh rate at 60Hz by going: Start->Run->Type dxdiag->More help tab->Overide->type in 60 In-Game: My MVP>>MVP Options>>Video Options
