Randallb21
Sorry if this has been done before but I just got my copy of MVP 05 and was wondering what people thought was the best PC controller for it. I have played botht he Ps2 and Xbox versions of the game and would like something close to the functionality of those 2 controllers. Also would like to know if anyone has the Xbox 360 PC controller and if that works with MVP.

Yama
I'm tired of trying to fight with the X360 controller to make it work and use all sorts of alternative methods. Does the Logitech Dual Action take away this frustration and let the game be played as it was meant? If it's as easy as plugging in and playing I'll buy two of them tuesday morning. It is the default controller for this game after all, isn't it?

Guildster
Logitech Dual Action. Hands down. Or is it thumbs up...
0wen
I have both the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 and the Xbox 360 Wireless controller with Wireless PC Reciever and I prefer the Xbox 360 controller because the Logitech thumbsticks sit inside square holes instead of round ones like the PS2 controller. If the corded version of the Logitech pad has the round holes for the thumbsticks, then it is a good choice since it has a lot more compatibility with older games than the 360 controller would have unless you use an outside program to map 360 controller buttons to keyboard buttons. It is a pain when you play games that require you to do a half circle motion and you cannot use the controllers edge of movement to get a clean half circle, instead I get a very square U motion with the Cordless Rumblepad. Another thing that may be a factor for you is that the Logitech controller will rumble at the edges of the strike zone but the wireless Xbox 360 pad does not rumble in MVP 05/07. jfreak4031
Go with the Logitech Dual Action. I bought one after my Nyko AirFlow Ex (nice if you can still find them!) had a trigger button die and I couldn't find a replacement locally. I bought the Logitech controller the night the button broke out of impatience more than anything, but I've been very pleased with it. If you can, buy it from Best Buy cuz they'll let you buy a two year replacement plan so that if anything like, oh, say, a trigger button breaks, they'll give you a brand new one off the shelf. No waiting to fix, no refurbs.
