Mav3rek Posted May 26, 2007 Share Posted May 26, 2007 For some reason my game has suddenly started crashing. I'm in my owner mode dynasty and it will crash during the game in the exact same point. I'm the Padres and I'm playing against the Giants at home in Petco. The Giants bat first and it doesn't matter if they get any hits or not, or if they score any runs or not the top half of the inning plays fine. When I'm up to bat the game runs fine until I make contact with the ball. Once my leadoff hitter makes contact, the game crashes back to the desktop. I've tried using different uni's on both teams and it still crashes. This is the 6th game this season against the Giants. I've played them before at AT&T park and it was fine, and I've also played 2 games against them at home with no problems. I'm running MVP07 with patch #2, and using UR 8.2 rosters. mvp23 Posted May 26, 2007 Share Posted May 26, 2007 Maybe you modded/edited some files before that game. Or maybe UR 8.2 has some corrupted players. I remmber from one of the posts recenly that UR or Kg`s rosters have some issues. I didn't mod or edit any files before the game, except for running the box score extractor after the previous game. I went ahead and simmed the final game of the series and went to play the Dodgers next and it worked fine. But then when I simmed until the next Giants series, it crashed again. Since the Giants are in my division I have to get this fixed b/c I've got to play them a bunch. So now I have to see what's wrong with the Giants. I've tried making them use a different starting pitcher and it still happened. philliesphan18 Posted May 26, 2007 Share Posted May 26, 2007 Check all their cyberfaces by going to the edit player menu and going through and clicking on all of their players. If it crashes on one of them you found your problem. If this is the case don't ask me how to fix it, I had the same problem in my old Twins dynasty and I couldn't fix it. He's some 17 yr old kid they signed and have on their roster now. I'm going to use ty's import/exporter to try and fix the issue. alcoholicstepfather Posted June 4, 2007 Share Posted June 4, 2007 Im having a crashing problem when I play the Nats at Turner Field on April 10. I can sim and manage the game, but when I play the game, as soon as the NAts throw the first pitch in the bottom of the 1st inning, the game crashes. I've tried different uniforms, different stadiums, tywiggins hist.dat file, and I've had no luck. I went to the edit player feature and clicked on every player on the Nats, but it never crashed. The only mod that I installed since the last game I played was True's datafile, and I'm sure that's not the problem. I simmed ahead and I can play the game on April 11 so it has to be the date. It's not really that big of a deal since I can just sim past April 10. It just is frustrating because I wanted to play every game. Edit--It seems to be an issue with the Nats organization. I tried to play the next game and it crashed again. When I played against the Nats A team, it crashed as well. Still don't have an answer, but I will keep working on it.
