Oriole Park at Camden Yards - A Modding History

Recommended Posts

I thought it would be interesting to take a look back at all the versions of Oriole Park that I've created to see the progression of the modding that I have done. Starting in High Heat all the way to the current MVP series, I've learned a lot and I think I've improved my graphical skills considerably based on the pics that you will see. I started from scratch, with only the basics and over the course of 5 years this is the level I'm at. So those of you who are thinking about modding, jump right in. In no time you'll be amazed at what you can do.

You can check out the retrospective on my website here.

Very cool! You know your HH Camden Yard does not look all that bad suprisingly, given the new progress that you guys have made in modding the parks out! This newest one is amazing...good job!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading all of that and looking at all the pictures :wtg:

You may or may not know, but I am the one who pioneered High Heat stadium modeling long after interest in the game died out. You should check out my RFK Stadium mod @ theperfectgame.net. It was done using a program called ZModeler 2. I can't even imagine what you could've done with it if this could have been developed during High Heat's heyday.

Awesome read Big O! and on another note, I've played 4 straight games at Oriole Park because of how awesome it is! :wtg: I might just have to start an O's dynasty just so I could play there more often ;)
