stEdfuNk
Game 10 of 162 - at Dodgers Padres tie it up in the NL west SAN DIEGO -- The 1st inning looked like it was gonna be scoreless with 2 outs and a man on base, but Gonzalez had something different to say as he belted out a 2 run home run followed by Greene doubling then being scored in by another homer at the hands of Brian Giles. The Dodgers were looking to catch up to not fall far behind early, but failed only scoring 1 run. The game remained scoreless through the next 2 innings but in the 4th the Padres got another on the board in the way of a home run by Branyan coming off rest to bring the score to 5-1. The dodgers didn't socre in the bottom of the 4th, and the Padres failed to score in the top frame of the 5th. Furcal opened the bottom of the 5th with a triple and then was scored in by Garciaparra, but that's all they could manufacture in the inning. The 6th inning was quiet but the 7th saw the Padres get 2 runs in the way of 2 manufactured runs. In the bottom of the 7th, down 7-2 they tried to fight back scoring 3 runs, but that's all they could get for the rest of the game. The Padres added 1 more in the top of the 9th and Hoffman got his 3rd save. redsox
I think it would look even better if you were to dim the opacity on the background and apply the "perspective" option for the lineup card.

redsox
Exactly and I think it would look even better if you dim the opacity on the background. Make the lineup-card stick out more. Also, here are couple of tips I learned. Create a duplicate layer of the background and play around with the different features. For example you can try an Overlay technique, or Soft Light technique, or Hard Light technique, etc...
HFLR
That lineup card looks great!... Btw how do you put the perspective in photoshop?
redsox
That lineup card looks great!... Btw how do you put the perspective in photoshop? Go to Edit -> transform and then perspective. There are whole lot more options there as well that you can fool around with.
stEdfuNk
Game 11 of 162 - at Dodgers Peavy gives bullpen the day off... again LOS ANGELES -- The Padres and Dodgers come into this game tied up in the standings, sure it's early on, but it's never too early to be in first place, it's always a good thing. The Padres started out strong getting 3 runs in the first inning that came from a solo shot from Cameron and a 2 run shot from Adrian Gonzalez. Peavy came into this game 2-0 and isn't looking to get his first loss, Schmidt is also 2-0 coming into this but is on to a bad start by giving up 2 home runs for 3 runs in the 1st inning, and things didn't lighten up anymore in the 2nd when Jake Peavy did his part hitting a sac fly, and then Mike Cameron hit a Sac Fly as well giving the Padres a run. Peavy continued to shut down the Dodgers until the bottom of the fourth where he struggled giving up a few hits, and Russel Martin hit an RBI single but that was the last peavy would give up, shutting down the dodgers to only 1 run in the game, pitching the full 9 frames. The Padres managed to get 2 more runs in the form of a manufactured run by Adrian Gonzalez who hit an RBI double. The last run for the Padres came from the bat of Adrian Gonzalez who connected for his 4th RBI of the game and his 2nd homer. The Dodgers now need to win the 3rd game of the series to not only tie it up in the standings, but avoid getting swept by their SoCal rivals.
