MetsReyes777
lol once again sted those ESPn boards are sick, the background PLUS how you changed the colors of the bars and stuff to the Padre tan, real cool...makes it look specifically for this dynasty, really good stuff keep it up sted
philliesphan18
Looks great! One thing I would change is that I've seen that the names of the pitcher on the Pitchers Face Off cover their respective faces. I would slide the name and the season stats down a bit so they appear right below the face.
stEdfuNk
thanks - I tried making it look not so generic since a lot of people use that template from JR. Although it looks the same and simple, I did spend quite a bit of time on it just messing with layers and fixing little things

JoeRudi26
Good luck with the Nats, stEd. The only trouble I had was keeping Kearns contained. Again, good luck! :)

stEdfuNk
Game 28 of 162 - @ Nationals AAA call up, Jack Cust, proves worthy with walk off HR SAN DIEGO -- Padres are coming into this game with the series tied at 1-1, and they haven't lost a series yet so this game would be a decider. Things were going well for the nationals until with 2 outs in the bottom of the second, things turned around quickly. With 2 outs in the bottom of the second Josh Bard blasted a 3 run shot to give David Wells some breathing room, putting the Padres up 3-0. The next run came in the bottom of the fourth with Khalil Green murdering a solo shot deep in the stands to put the Pads up 4-0. David Wells continued to pitch a shutout until the 7th inning, when things went down hill quickly. The Nationals would manufacture a run in the top of the 7th, and that seemed to be all the danger as David Wells now had 2 outs, but Schneider had something else to say about it and hit a 3 run shot to put tie the game up. The next inning saw the Padres bring in Cla Meredith who has been a pretty good relief pitcher so far this season. Meredith would pitch a 1-2-3 eight and ninth inning. In the bottom of the ninth with the game still tied at fourth, Jack Cust, who was playing his first game this season since being called up from the minors when Geoff Blum was showing a lack of skill at the second base position, would prove he was worth the call up. Jack Cust saw the first pitch go by, but on the second pitch he hammered it deep into center field and over the wall to win the game, and the fans for a 5-4 win, and the series. I think when a player goes into the park, their average automatically drops 10 pts.

stEdfuNk
Game 29 of 162 - @ Marlins Bell explodes MIAMI -- Today would mark the Padres first trip to the east coast this season, and it didn't start of well. The Marlins jumped out to a quick 1-0 start off 2 hits from the Marlins. The Padres bats were quiet tonight, they could not get anything going, Sanchez struck out 13 Padres in his 7 innings of service. The Padres were able to get a small thing going in the 5th when Branyan got an RBI double. The Marlins pulled ahead in the 7th when an overthrow scored a run. The Padres got their first lead of the night in the 8th with some hits and an error, at one point the Padres had the Bases loaded but weren't able to make a huge dent in the scoreboard. In the 8th inning Heath Bell was brought in as Meredith was feeling sore and Bell lived up to his name. In the bottom of the t8h the Marlins were able to score 3 runs off 4 hits, including a 2 run home run to put the Marlins up 5-3. Kevin Gregg was brought in the 9th to wrap it up, and he did so successfully putting the Padres down as they came up to give him his 7th save of the season and getting the Marlins a 5-3 win.
